PARTICIPATING CHURCH DONATION OF
CANNED GOODS
CTLC is in need of specific food items. Because of severe
cut backs at Capital Area Food Bank in Austin, CTLC's ability to receive and
purchase from them has been greatly reduced.
Carol Coufal is heading up CTLC’s effort to encourage area
churches to meet these specific needs.
The size of the package or can is important as these go directly
into grocery bags with other items. CTLC is not allowed to repackage food so
large economy bags of beans, for example, cannot be rebagged into smaller
portions. Canned goods should be in 15-20
oz cans. Here are the items needed
and the names of the churches we are asking to collect that item:
