These are the folks that our clients meet first so a
welcoming smile is always important. Then
there are some duties that our reception desk
volunteers need to carry out: For NEW CLIENTS
-- See that an Intake Form is filled out completely
and see that the 5 pages are put together in the
proper order.
For OLD CLIENTS -- Go over the old form on
that person and update the data on it.
For ALL CLIENTS --
- Find out client needs.
- Check to see if they are eligible for what
they are requesting.
- Put a sticky note on their file with the
request listed on the note.
- Write the client's name on a clipboard sheet
so that they can go on to the next station after
they are finished at the reception desk.
